I want everyone to know about Dr. Sullivan and his team at Initia Nova! I have been suffering from Fibromyalgia since 2020. I have had Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) since 2006, and it, and its severe pain, has progressed through the entire right side of my body. I am permanently disabled and virtually housebound. I had my first appointment with Dr Patrick Sullivan on 9/5/ 2024 . I was completely broken mentally , physically , emotionally and spiritually. .My symptoms were severe insomnia , burning skin , internal vibrations , feelings of electrical current running through my body which all caused suicidal ideations . I also have chronic lyme , bartonella and long covid . Dr Sullivan saved my life . I went down the path of multiple doctors( mainstream and functional )and sleep supplements and anxiety meds ,which did not work .Ketamine was then mentiond to me and I was recommended to Dr Sullivan who thoroughly studied my case and called my doctors before taking me on as a patient . I’m am on my 14th infusion and I started to see big improvement at the 10th one . I never had a problem during an infusion but things did get worse for me before I started to get better . I was referred to Dr. Sullivan by my psychiatrist to help me both put down a serious addiction & manage my treatment-resistent depression. I'm one year sober now, and not planning on giving up anytime soon. 👍Dr. Sullivan is kind, very patient & easy to talk to. He'd check in with me occasionally between visits to see how I was doing. The therapist, Rena, was a great guide while I acclimated to the experience. I didn't have a negative experience with any of the nurses (or at all, in general) whom were all friendly as well.Throughout all of my sessions, there was never an interruption, and they always made sure I was comfortable. The usual harsh florescent ceiling lights were always turned off in favor of more relaxed homey lighting once the infusion was underway, and I was never rushed out of the room at the end. They always gave me plenty of time after removing the IV to process my experience & get my bearings.Overall, I haven't had a single negative or uncomfortable experience here & highly recommend them to anyone seeking ketamine infusions or KAP 👌

Dr. Patrick Sullivan is the ONLY doctor who was able to successfully help me with my physical dependence on opioids. My quality of life has improved dramatically thanks to his advanced treatment modalities and his ability to think outside the traditional medical box.Twenty years ago my pain management doctor started me on opioid therapy for chronic pain that had become too severe for NSAIDs and other modalities. After only three months of taking opiates for my pain, I wanted to discontinue them because of several negative side effects.Over the last 20 years, with my doctor's approval and supervision, I unsuccessfully tried 14 times to wean off the opioids using various methods including an expensive "rapid detox" which failed miserably.I considered a standard detox at INPATIENT facilities but decided against it because of their methods of "detoxing" patients and their notoriously dismal failure rate. It made no sense to take Suboxone, a narcotic, to get me off a narcotic. It just made no sense to me. Also, they treated patients as if they were mere numbers. Then I came across Dr. Sullivan and Initia Nova.I contacted Patrick through his website and we communicated for over two months by email. I've never come across a doctor who was so willing to answer all of my questions in such great detail requiring so much of his time. We must have emailed some twenty times over two months.He invited me to meet for a free consultation during which we made a tentative plan for how he might be able to get me off opioids using innovative methods. His plan made complete sense to me and we scheduled my OUTPATIENT treatment for opioid dependence.Patrick's treatment plan worked perfectly! I'm writing this review on the 50th day that I've been free of opiates!! I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with my results. Dr. Sullivan is the kind of doctor that we all hear about and hope for but rarely encounter. He is totally professional and more compassionate and patient than any physician I've ever met. It's been a little over one year since I started my treatment with Dr. Sullivan. My experience at Initia Nova has been superb. I have struggled with intractable depression and have tried ketamine treatment at other clinics without much impact or long-term success. What has made the difference at Initia Nova is Dr. Sullivan’s extensive experience and depth of knowledge in the field and his ability and willingness to individualize treatment for each patient. He is attentive and responsive. I see him at every appointment and am able to ask follow-up questions via email. Dr. Dougherty in the Wilmington clinic is also a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. In the Wild West of ketamine right know, finding a reputable clinic with responsible, knowledgeable doctors is key. I live near Philly and travel to Cherry Hill because I would not go anywhere else in the area. Because of the individualized treatment I’m receiving at Initia Nova, my mental health has greatly improved, and we have found a maintenance plan that is working well for me. I highly recommend that patients interested in trying ketamine to ease their suffering go to one of the two Initia Nova clinics—even if they have to travel a bit farther than they might for other clinics nearby. You really don’t want to risk getting sub-par treatment elsewhere.

I have been going to Initia Nova since December 2022 for ketamine therapy. Dr. Sullivan and his team are some of the kindest, caring medical personnel I've ever come in contact with. I began seeing Dr. Sullivan four months ago for Chronic Migraine. In just a couple of months of treatment, he has changed my life. I've been managing Chronic Migraine since I was 17, and Dr. Sullivan’s migraine treatments have helped more than anything else in the last 13 years. My pain intensity and frequency are at a level I never thought possible. I can actually function!He is a wonderfully caring doctor. He puts in so much extra work to get me the treatments that will help me the most. Plus, he is in contact with top doctors to stay up to date on the latest treatments and continually troubleshoot the best treatments for each condition. He doesn't have to spend his time communicating with my insurance not only to get treatments approved but to make sure treatments are as affordable as possible. His nurses are super friendly and really good at starting IVs. The staff is always super safe while I'm being treated. I honestly can't praise Initia Nova enough.

Like many have said in the other reviews below, the work Dr. Sullivan and his team do is nothing short of a miracle.I have been a patient with him for almost 3 years and my depression which was once completely unmanageable is almost a thing of the past. Do I still have bad days and slumps? Absolutely - but are they completely debilitating with me shunning off those I love and care about while hiding in the basement for days on end not eating or sleeping and swearing off my existence? Absolutely not - they are just bad days that I can now manage and continue to live my life...with the added benefit of my good days are now amazing and I can say I'm actually "living" my life now.I cannot imagine my life without Dr. Sullivan and his amazing staff and also cannot say enough great things about them. I can only hope that if you are on the fence about speaking with him, you make the jump like many of us have and give yourself a fighting chance. I played the game of football for more than 16 years. During my career, I experienced many head-related injuries. I sought treatment from many other Doctors, and they all told me the same thing, " There is nothing we can do." My focus was off, my attention span was horrible, and I acted out abnormally. Dr. Sullivan was the first Doctor who told me he could help, and help he did. His treatments have allowed me to get my life back. I have struggled with debilitating migraine headaches for about 35 years. They have impacted me professionally, socially, and emotionally, and singificantly decreased my overall quality of life. I have tried every doctor, pill, treatment, injection and lifestyle change to find some level of relief. Although some treatments have worked in the short term, the headaches always eventually came back; at times even more severe and frequent. When I met Dr. Sullivan I was having significant headaches every other day (15-17 a month), which was causing me to overuse medication and feel completely hopeless. I have been seeing Dr. Sullivan for a few months now. He has been extremely helpful along with his amazing staff. My depression has decreased by tremendous proportions. Dr. Sullivan always checks in at each appointment to make sure I am on the right track. Also between sessions as well. His nurse Keith is also very knowledgeable and friendly. I am beyond grateful...I was referred to Dr. Sullivan...I have been struggling with alcoholism for over ten years...failing time and time again...I tried AA...I went to an outpatient program...which was AA based...I tried a different program other than AA...Smart Recovery...and I have a strong support system with family and friends...
